On five acres nestled between two lakes, we built this four bedroom three bathroom home. The hand cut stone dual-sided fireplace was one of its most exciting features. Quarter sawn oak flooring through most of the main level and the white kitchen trend was not quite in vogue yet. We didn’t build it like a forever house, we built it thinking of the real estate market and what people might be looking for. In MN, it’s a mudroom, in floor heat, big kitchen, low maintenance, and something with a little style.
