Doing what I love…

The name Sugar Haus comes from the beautiful sugar maple forests that are common in our area, and our Scandinavian heritage. It also reflects my desire to extract the sweet, simple beauty possible in every space. I have always had a passion for the beauty and creative outlet that comes with designing a home. Building and renovating has been a huge part of our family life. When creating and design feels visceral and unstoppable, it’s a sweet reminder of the gifts God gave me. I know that I was put on this earth to care for my family, and part of that is to create the beautiful spaces that add warmth, memories, and meaning to our lives. Here I am with my husband and six wonderful children. I’m so blessed to be able to share life with them.
